Idaho State Representative Brent Crane serves the citizens of Nampa in the  Idaho State Legislature. Rep. Crane is the Vice President of Crane Alarm   Service a family owned security and fire alarm business that has been located in Nampa since 1964.

Rep. Crane is currently serving his fourth term in the Idaho House of Representatives. Rep. Crane serves on the Business, State Affairs, and the Ways and Means committees and is the Asst. Majority Leader in the House. As a young leader in the Idaho House, he is known as an advocate for a strong economy, and a business friendly environment. Rep. Crane received the Friend of Agriculture award in 2007, 2008, 2009, 2010, 2011 and 2013.

Rep. Crane is active in his community he has served as a member of the Nampa Chamber of Commerce Executive Board, and is on the Strategic Development Team at Grace Bible Church. Rep. Crane was pleased when his company was selected by the TV show Extreme Makeover Home Edition to install the security system for the Ryan Stockdale family. Rep. Crane’s company also provided the security for the 2009 Special Winter Olympics.

A life-long resident of Canyon County, Rep. Crane graduated from Nampa Christian High School and received a BA in Political Science with an emphasis in Public Administration from Boise State University. Rep. Crane, his wife Rochenda, and their two children live in Nampa.

Rep. Crane is an avid outdoorsman who enjoys playing golf, fly fishing, and shooting clay targets. When not on the golf course Rep. Crane can be found on the beach in South Florida reading a good book. Rep. Crane and his wife, Rochenda, have two children, a son Keaton, and a daughter Riley.
